Raspberry Pi developer cards continue to host interesting projects, although it has come to the fore with more price increases recently. Badger 2040 is a stylish card project with a programmable screen.
Badger 2040 features and price
There is a 2.9-inch colorless E-Ink display on the circuit board with 85mm x 48mm x 9mm dimensions. The name of the card, which uses the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller with dual Cortex-M0+ cores, comes from here. On the memory side, it has 246kB of SRAM and 2MB of QSPI flash.

There is a screen and 5 different user keys on the front. On the back are Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector, USB Type-C power connector, JST-PH connector powered by dual AAA batteries, reset and start buttons. The board can be programmed with C/C++, MicroPython and CircuitPython. However, an integrated charging circuit is not included.
The Badger 2040 developer card, which appeals to those who like programming, has a price tag of $ 17 as a card only. The set consisting of battery, strap and USB cable is sold for $23.5. There are also functional enclosure projects for 3D printers of the card. The company has shared many software examples on Github and its own site.
