As it is known, after the cancellation of E3 2022, most companies organized their own digital event. In this context, we can say that game fairs have started to lose their old interest. Today, IGN said that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo, which are seen as the stars of E3, will not attend the E3 2023 fair.
It should be noted that the decision from the Sony front is not surprising. Because the game giant did not take part in the E3 2019 fair. On the other hand, Microsoft is among the board partners of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which organizes the event. Also just a few days ago, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer said he will continue to work with ESA to make the event a success. But it looks like there won’t be an Xbox booth at E3 2023 either.
E3 2023 will take place June 13-16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It’s unclear at this time whether Nintendo and Sony will hold a gaming event.
