Binance announced that it will discontinue the Sandbox NFT Staking Program and Binance NFT Marketplace support for the Polygon network. This decision also restricts users’ options for staking altcoins on Binance.
Binance is removing NFTs from the Polygon network
In an announcement dated September 8, Binance announced its decision to discontinue the Sandbox NFT Staking Program. Borsa shared that the decision was made after comprehensive evaluation.
Starting September 26, users will no longer be able to stake LAND NFTs on Polygon to earn SAND rewards. Binance stated that it will automatically remove all LAND NFTs. These will return to users’ accounts by the end of the month.
Additionally, Binance will remove NFT support on the Polygon network starting September 26. Users must withdraw their NFTs from the Polygon network from the Binance NFT Marketplace by December 31.
