Xiaomi 13 Ultra may launch later than expected
According to Digital Chat Station, China-based smartphone manufacturers OPPO and Honor will launch their flagship phones in mid-February due to the Chinese New Year celebrations (January 22). However, the source of the leak says that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also be affected by these delays and will launch in the Chinese market in late March or early April.
As it is known, recent leaks have revealed that Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be introduced globally at MWC 2023. It seems that Xiaomi has not changed its MWC plans. However, the flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra will not appear at the new event.
Reportedly, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature a quad camera setup that includes a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989. In addition, these cameras are expected to be accompanied by PDAF autofocus and gimbal optimization on the primary camera side. Under the hood, the new flagship to be supported by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will come with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 500GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
