Xiaomi, one of the successful players in the smartphone industry, announced the date that the Xiaomi 12 series, which it introduced in China last year, will come to global markets. There has been an important development recently regarding the series, whose global versions will be introduced at the event to be held on March 15. In this context, bad news came from the Xiaomi 12 Ultra model, which has not yet been introduced in the series.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra release date delayed
As it is known, Xiaomi introduced Xiaomi 12, 12X and 12 Pro models at its China event last year. The company, which did not showcase the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, pointed to a later date for the device. In this context, claims have been made that the smartphone will be introduced in the first quarter of 2022 and will come to global markets immediately after.
There has been an important development recently regarding the smartphone, which has been on the agenda with leaks for a while and some of its technical features are known. Digital Chat Station, which stands out with its leaks in the industry, announced that the release date of the device was delayed due to processor stock shortages. The model, whose introduction date is not known at the moment, is expected to be presented to users in the second quarter of 2022.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor, which is expected to be introduced very soon in direct proportion to previous claims. On the other hand, it will have up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage options. Let’s also mention that it will be powered by a 4,860 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
The device will feature a curved panel with 2K resolution 120 Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support. The fingerprint reader, which is determined as a security method, will be placed under the screen.
The smartphone, which will be presented to the user with a circular camera setup, will have a 50 Megapixel Samsung GN5 main camera, a 48 Megapixel 2x, 48 Megapixel 5x and 48 Megapixel 10x quad camera setup.
