Bad news for those who don’t like the new iOS version!

Along with the iPhone 14 series, which will be introduced in September, the iOS 16 version will also be offered to users. While the work for iOS 16, which has already been tested and currently the fourth beta version has been released, continues at full speed, the iOS 15.6 version has been released recently.

It’s been a week since the release of this sixth version of iOS 15, and Apple has pulled the plug on the previous version, iOS 15.5. For iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5, it is no longer possible to revert to these versions due to the discontinuation of signing.

Apple stopped signing iOS 15.5

The release notes released by Apple with the iOS 15.6 update were as follows;

  • Fixes an issue where an alert in Settings saying that storage is full was displayed even if the device has room on storage
  • Fixes an issue that could cause Braille devices to slow down or stop responding when navigating text in Mail
  • Fixes an issue where a tab goes back to an earlier web page in Safari

Why should I revert to the old iOS version? The probability of this question popping up in your mind is very high. Let’s answer right away: while the need to go back may arise due to a problem in the new version that directly affects you, users who are usually interested in Jailbreak want to go back to older iOS versions.

The Odyssey Team group announced earlier this month that they are working on the first jailbreak tool for devices running iOS 15. However, it will be possible to perform this operation between iOS 15.0 and iOS 15.1.1 versions due to Apple’s increasing security every day.

Using old iOS versions makes you both deprived of innovations and vulnerable to security vulnerabilities.
