Uncharted, one of the most established series of Sony PlayStation brand, ended with its 4th game and the coming The Lost Legacy expansion pack. However, PC players could not taste this brand exclusive to PlayStation. Bad news came from Sony for Uncharted 4, which will be released for PC in the next year.
No online mode considered for Uncharted 4
Naughty Dog, which is also the producer of Jak and Daxter and The Last of Us series, released the first game of Uncharted for PlayStation 3 in 2007. The series, which has released sequels for both PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 in the intervening 10 years, has managed to become one of the most important building blocks of the Sony PlayStation brand.
The Uncharted series, which will be reflected on the cinema screen by Sony in the coming period, ended with Uncharted 4, which was published for PlayStation 4 in 2017. The series, which PC players have wanted to see on the platform for a long time, was announced by Sony last October. Bad news came from Sony for the fourth game of the series, which will be released on the PC platform in the first half of 2022.
According to the rating of Uncharted 4 and its expansion pack, The Lost Legacy, published by the ESRB, which determines the age limits and general characteristics of the games, the PC version of the production will not have any online (multiplayer) mode.
Press members trying to reach Sony on this issue have not been able to get any response at the moment. However, since the ESRB ratings contain precise information about the final state of the games, the accuracy of this information can be said to be quite reliable. In this sense, the PC version of the production, which reached 37 million players in total and has 13.3 million online players, is not expected to have a multiplayer mode.
So what do you guys think about this issue? Do you think that the lack of an online mode in the PC version of Uncharted is a serious shortcoming? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section.
