Ubisoft, one of the most important companies in the game world, has been working on a new game for a long time, which was released in 2009 and takes the world of Avatar by storm. However, the company announced bad news for those waiting for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora delayed to 2023 or early 2024
Ubisoft first introduced its game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at the Ubisoft Forward event held in June 2021. The company had promised a 2022 release at the event. However, the latest information shows that this promise has not been kept.
Ubisoft announced its first-quarter earnings last Thursday. During this statement, the company gave information about the expected Avatar game. Ubisoft, which reiterates at every opportunity that it wants the upcoming game to be perfect, announced that it postponed the game to 2023 or the beginning of 2024 at the latest, citing this reason.
The company wants the new Avatar game to be very good in every way. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced that the game has been delayed, with an emphasis on “for a perfect spin” as he announced the earnings chart. Guillemot made the following statements on the subject:
We want to make Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora a video game industry brand. It’s important for us to come up with something perfect. While this additional development time is a reflection of the current ongoing constraints on productions across the industry, we strive to design the most efficient working conditions to provide both flexibility and strong productivity for our teams.
Based on previous information, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released for PS5, Xbox Series S /X, PC, Stadia and Amazon Luna in the coming years. On the other hand, Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel, which is expected to be released in the near future, is scheduled to be released in December 2022. It is not yet known whether the postponement is related to this.
