Sky Mavis head of business development Kathleen Osgood said their goal is to involve as many people in the ecosystem as possible.
Sky Mavis, the developer team of the popular blockchain game Axie Infinity, announced that four game studios will build and release games on the Ronin network, leading to the creation of its own native ecosystem.
Project Aims to Increase Web3 Adoption
The Sky Mavis team told Cointelegraph that they have partnered with four game studios.
Partnership studios include Directive Games, Tribes, Bali Games and BowledIo. Additionally, the team announced that the Ronin blockchain is moving to a delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism.
Speaking on the subject, Trun Nguyen, CEO and co-founder of Sky Mavis, said: “With the upgrade to DPoS, we are ready to open our infrastructure and technology to the wider Web3 world. We believe this is the way to create games that are community-centered, more rewarding and above all more fun.”
Another person who made comments on the subject was business development manager Kathleen Osgood. Osgood said in a statement: “New user and wallet creation is a big part of our game studio strategy. “Our goal is to work with teams to build great games that attract not only Web3 users but also millions of Web2 users.”
The creator of Axie Infinity will be able to work with other teams with a Web2 user background to bring blockchain games to the masses and be a catalyst for greater Web3 adoption.
