Awesome Artifacts Revealed with NVIDIA GeForce RTX4090

Graphic designers can create unique designs with the technologies developed by NVIDIA. These designs can sometimes be a real product, a magnificent depiction of the imagination. So how does NVIDIA make it possible to produce artifacts that are both realistic and imaginary?

The products released by NVIDIA, one of the important names in the graphics card world, make the work of graphic designers much easier, especially. So much so that projects that used to be worked on for days, maybe weeks, can be completed within hours, thanks to GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs.

Now we’re going to talk about two projects that showcase how powerful and how helpful the GeForce RTX 4090 GPU is to designers. Both projects impress with their creation processes.

Let’s start with the alien-inspired animation Stylized Alien Landscape!

Describing his experience at NVIDIA Studio, the artist named Ducky 3D used a system with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU to create the animation Stylized Alien Landscape, which we will present to your liking shortly. The project, which was implemented with the geo node feature in Blender, NVIDIA’s open source three-dimensional design application, has remarkable points.

In Blender, geo nodes use small amounts of data, making the detailed scene modeling process more procedural. Ducky 3D started by creating a simple cube and used several popular geo nodes to create an alien-inspired animation.

Later, taking advantage of the power of the GeForce 4090 RTX GPU and focusing on the lighting and editing process, Ducky 3D managed to create an out of this world masterpiece with very smooth transitions with the artificial intelligence supported NVIDIA OptiX ray tracing API. Here’s what the design to use in the animation looked like:

*Chinese New Year is known as the “Year of the Rabbit” this year.

Did you know that you can create designs that look real with the NVIDIA GeForce 4090 RTX GPU? Design and NVIDIA lead artist Zhelong Xu does exactly that. Xu, who made special works for the Chinese New Year, explained how he brought these works to life at NVIDIA Studio.

Xu is quite adept at modeling Chinese Zodiac symbols in three dimensions. In fact, the design called Carefree Sheep was chosen as the software launch screen by Adobe Substance Painter, formerly Allegorithmic. His design, Harboring a Cute Tiger, reached 16 million people on Weibo, China’s social media. Let’s take a closer look at how such a talented designer got support from NVIDIA.

In the design, two emerald rabbits, one with ears up and the other down, await the arrival of the Chinese New Year. Xu used ZBrush’s proprietary sculpting tools to create the first model. He then prepared the model with a UV map before applying a custom emerald texture made in Adobe Substance 3D Painter. NVIDIA RTX accelerated light and ambient occlusion features rendered and optimized parts of the design in seconds, allowing Xu to quickly and easily experience textures with its GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.

The artist imported the files into Blender to create the design and edit the lighting. He added many Eastern style plugins from the PBRMAX.com library to the work. Movement within the viewport was seamlessly handled thanks to Blender Cycles RTX-accelerated OptiX ray tracing technology, which enables interactive and photorealistic modeling.

Xu then imported it into NVIDIA Omniverse Create for final modelling, using the export plug-in for NVIDIA Omniverse, a platform for building and running Metaverse applications. Recorded in the Universal Scene Description (USD) format, the designer also made adjustments to the translucent emerald material for ultimate realism.

Xu said Omniverse Create is incredibly useful for scene modifications because it allows him to test lighting with scene visualization in real time. This gave him the most accurate replay of final renders and enabled more meaningful real-time edits. “Thanks to the power of the GeForce RTX 4090 GPU and the RTX optimization in Omniverse, I achieved the desired effect very quickly and tested various lighting effects,” the designer said.

Omniverse gives 3D artists the option to work with any renderer in the viewport with support for Pixar HD Storm, Chaos V-Ray, Maxon’s Redshift, OTOY Octane, Blender Cycles and more. Xu also used the NVIDIA Iray renderer to complete the project.
