Nearly 3,000 new Bitcoin ATMs have been installed since the start of the year.
Although the crypto market continues to experience downward pressure, this has not prevented the installation of new Bitcoin ATMs.
On January 1, the number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide stood at 34,340, while on May 10, the number reached 37,338, according to Coin ATM Radar.
A total of 2,998 Bitcoin ATMs have been installed since the beginning of 2022, with an average of 23 per day.
According to another study, around 20,000 new Bitcoin ATMs were installed in 2021. This means that on average more than 50 ATMs are installed per day.
The increase in ATMs also indicates increasing worldwide crypto adoption. In particular, the USA was the country that saw the most Bitcoin ATM installations.
