Avast warns Android users: Trojan that increases bills discovered

However, when the app is first installed, SMSFFactory, which displays simple menus promoting running games, videos, and adult content, prompts victims to follow instructions on how to turn off Google’s app security Android Play Project system.

Later, the new threat, which hides on the main screen and sends the device ID and phone service information to the attackers, sends paid SMS or makes phone calls with paid numbers without the user’s knowledge.
