Japanese auto giants Nissan and Toyota enter the metaverse.
According to a report in the Japanese newspaper Nikkei Asia, two leading automakers Nissan and Toyota are stepping into the metaverse. Companies will tap into the metaverse to deliver new virtual experiences to their users, organize digital events, and create virtual customer service offices.
According to the news, the two companies are planning to touch different points of the metaverse space. Nissan is committed to creating virtual reality rooms for its customers; Toyota, on the other hand, will focus on creating remote working environments by creating offices for its staff where they can discuss technical developments using their avatars.
There is no official information on which metaverse the companies will open their new offices in.
