The well-known statistician has once again criticized Bitcoin (BTC) for the poor performance of the number one cryptocurrency.
“Black Swan” author Nassim Nicholas Taleb continued his criticism of Bitcoin, claiming that the leading cryptocurrency cannot protect against anything. Taleb described BTC as a “perfect sucker game.”
Taleb, once a BTC fan, made a complete U-turn last February and is ahead declared the incoming cryptocurrency a failure. On February 12, the famous mathematician said that he has started selling his Bitcoins.
Taleb has not softened his stance on Bitcoin after angering the cryptocurrency community with his hurtful comments. Last June, he published an article titled “Bitcoin, Currencies and Bubbles” on the fall of the leading cryptocurrency. In July, he said the world’s largest cryptocurrency is “a magnet for imbeciles.” Taleb stated in December that Bitcoin was a “bulky” and “old” product of low interest rates and predicted it would collapse due to high inflation. Last month, Taleb described Bitcoin as a contagious disease.
