Australia’s first Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs begin trading.
Australia’s first Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, ETFS 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, ETFS 21Shares Ethereum ETF and Cosmos Purpose Bitcoin Access ETF, which were announced to be delayed in previous weeks, began trading on Cboe on Thursday. “We are pleased to partner with ETF Securities for Australia’s first crypto ETFs,” said Vic Jokovic, CEO of Cboe Australia. These are breakthrough products that will pave the way for more Australians to invest in cryptocurrencies in a regulated way.”
The listing comes amid the LUNA and UST shock the cryptocurrency market is experiencing. Trading volumes for all three ETFs were below $1 million on opening day.
