The Australian Football League’s (AFL) limited edition NFT collection released the Ripper Skipper 2022 and sold out fast.

The Ripper Skipper 2022 was released yesterday through the AFL Mint program, and people who join the “allowed list” are allowed to purchase one of the 3,800 packs reserved for the discount. The entire collection of AFL, which is also the Australian partner of the world’s largest NFT gaming company Animoca Brands, was sold in 12 hours.

Australian Football League NFTs Consist of 3 Packs

The limited edition NFTs featured 78 key moments and moments from the 2021 season. Designed as both audio and video, the NFT package has been released in three different packages: common, deluxe and clapping. Each pack sold at 34.39 USDC.

Noting that they will start exciting new moments with the Men’s and Women’s competitions, AFL Customer and Commercial General Manager Kylie Rogers said:

“Through our AFL Mint brand, we will launch past greats and other product versions that will provide a unique fan experience we haven’t seen before.”

AFL signed a five-year partnership with Be Media, a subsidiary of NFT gaming giant Animoca Brands, in April, and announced NFT marketplace AFL Mint. Launching in 2023, the marketplace will allow NFT swaps and sales between fans and collectors.
