After the introduction of the world’s first 500Hz player monitor by Asus in the past weeks, the AUO company started to work on a new record. The world’s first 540Hz gaming monitor is very close.
AUO will break the record
A new monitor model developed by AUO for the eSports industry can reach a refresh rate of 540Hz. Thus, Asus ROG Swift 500 takes the record from the hands of the model.
AUO will launch its new model in parallel with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards. Because these graphics cards will be able to use the full potential of the monitor. Tests with the current RTX 3090 Ti graphics card can reach up to 350fps at most.
Asus ROG Swift 500, on the other hand, was able to achieve 343fps performance even at the lowest quality with the RTX 3090 graphics card. In other words, it will be necessary to wait until the beginning of next year to get 400fps and above screen values in games. AUO also prepares different monitor models as 240Hz, 360Hz and 480Hz.
