Whales carry 8.5 billion Shiba Inu tokens
According to data published by Etherscan, a Blockchain explorer for the Ethereum network, during the day crypto whales are the second largest in the 8 billion market. Shiba Inu (SHIB), the meme-themed cryptocurrency, has moved its token to different addresses. Besides that, whales bought large quantities of LUNA and LINK tokens. Whales purchased 40,000 LUNA tokens for $4,110,000 and 452,201 LINK tokens for $452,201.
Etherscan tracker also shows two major SHIB transactions carried out during the day carrying 4.3 billion and 4.2 billion Shiba Inu-themed meme tokens. The amount of 8.5 billion Shiba Inu tokens is $208,165. A total of 4,389,070,874 meme tokens were moved to an anonymous address by MEV.bot. A total of 2,495,921,532 tokens from an unknown address were transferred to a Binance wallet, likely to be sold later.
This huge ETH whale buys 175 billion SHIB
As we have previously reported as Kriptokoin.com, the last transfer of 2,080,230,000 tokens by one of the big ETH whales was made between two anonymous addresses. The Shiba Inu (SHIB), on the other hand, remains one of the most stable bets whales make on crypto. On April 3, a whale named “Tsunade” purchased an astonishing 86 billion meme tokens.
Another “permanent” purchase of the Shiba Inu includes two whales whose wallets are named after characters from iconic fantasy novels written by JRR Tolkien in the middle of the last century. The names these whales give to their wallets are “The Hobbit” (“Bombur” wallet) and “Lord of the Rings” (“Gimli” wallet). On April 1, “Bombur” bought 175 billion SHIB. The third “Tolkien” whale is the one with a wallet named Tom Bombadil. However, Bombadil has not yet been observed purchasing the Shiba Inu.
