Yapı Kredi’s collection of Atatürk’s personal belongings will be transformed into NFT and exhibited on the metaverse on May 19 (tomorrow).

The NFT collection includes items such as Atatürk’s medals, amber rosary, wooden walking stick, gramophone, and the eyeglass frame of his mother, Zübeyde Hanım. The first floor of the three-storey building, which will be opened to exhibit the collection, where these items can be seen as NFT, will be converted into a museum.

The exhibition can be visited at the Yapı Kredi building, which will be located at the coordinates -112, -43 in Decentraland.

Yapı Kredi Corporate Communications Director Arda Öztaşkın made the following remarks:

“As Yapı Kredi, the bank of culture and art, on May 19, we commemorate our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. We created NFT versions of our Atatürk archive, which we previously transferred to the digital environment with the ‘Virtual Museum’, in order to pass on its heritage and heritage to future generations. We will exhibit the most valuable pieces of this very valuable collection, which includes personal belongings of Atatürk, on the first floor of our building in the Metaverse universe, which we have converted into a museum.”
