Asus, one of the successful players in the PC market, introduced its new monitor Rog Swift OLED PG27AQDM. Aiming for 2K (2560 x 1440) gaming, the new monitor raises the bar a little higher among gaming monitors with its 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 millisecond response time and an OLED panel that reaches 1000 nits of brightness. Here are the Rog Swift OLED PG27AQDM specs and price

Asus Rog Swift OLED PG27AQDM specifications

Today, we see that high frame rates are now meeting with better panel technologies. One of the latest examples of this is the Rog Swift OLED PG27AQDM, with a 26.5-inch screen size of up to 1000 nits brightness, 99 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, 1.5M:1 contrast ratio and 10-bit color. It offers depth.

However, the most striking feature of Xeneon is that it brings with it a new cooling solution to help thermal management. The monitor, which is supported by a special cooling block against the risk of burn-in or burning in OLED panels, also includes a smart voltage optimization for heat management. At this point, Asus states that every voltage sent to the screen will be controlled and consistent brightness will be provided for each pixel.

Other features of ROG Swift OLED (PG27AQDM) include NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility, anti-glare micro-textured overlay and pivot support. In this way, you can adjust height, right-left rotation and tilt on the monitor, which allows both vertical and horizontal use. There is also a special tripod socket at the top for users to mount their webcams more efficiently.

ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is powered by single DisplayPort 1.4, dual HDMI 2.0, dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 and a headphone jack, plus the new ASUS DisplayWidget Center software. As for the price, Asus announced that the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM model will be available for sale with a price tag of $ 999.
