The new ROG Strix SCAR 18 gaming laptop is designed for esports, according to Asus. Stating that it carries desktop-level performance to the mobile platform, Asus has crowned this product with an 18-inch QHD 240 Hz screen. While this screen has an IPS basis, it draws attention with its 3ms response time. Supported by G-Sync, the screen also has Dolby Vision HDR support. On the hardware side, the top configuration features a 24-core Core i9-13980HX processor and RTX 4090 card. ROG Strix SCAR 18, which comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM that can be expanded up to 64GB, has a 2TB + 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.
The ROG Strix SCAR series also uses Conductonaut extreme liquid metal, Tri-Fan technology and renewed cooling to ensure thermal performance is not compromised. There is also Dolby Atmos virtual surround support in this series. There are 64 Wh / 90 Wh batteries with 100W fast charging support in the products where success is aimed at communication with artificial intelligence supported noise canceling.
Asus has not shared a release date information or a price information for now. In addition, we can say that the new ROG Strix SCAR 18, 17 and 16 models will enter the market in the coming months.
