Asus Rog Phone 7 series details
Both versions displayed with model numbers AI2205_B and AI2205_C on the Geekbench platform most likely point to the Rog Phone 7 Pro. Let’s remind you that the B, C and D variants we’ve seen so far all use the base version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a 3.19 GHz main core. However, in the Rog Phone 5 series, the company came up with overclocked Qualcomm solutions.
It looks like ROG Phone 7 Pro will not bring a higher solution of Qualcomm SoC. Indeed, such a chipset (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy) already accompanies the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Therefore, there may be an interim agreement between Samsung and Qualcomm until the SD8+ Gen 2 announcement.
Asus ROG Phone 6 series was introduced in July of last year. In this context, we think that there are at least a few months left for the new generation ROG phones to go to the showcase.
