Asus’s campaign is only available in the UK for now, and is exclusive to GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or RTX 4080 cards. Asus offers a discount for these new generation graphics cards to those who bring old graphics cards. For old cards, AMD, Nvidia or other brand differences are not observed.
The prices that Asus offers for old cards aren’t too high, nor too low, than the second-hand market. In this context, prices starting from £90 for the GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 can go up to £230 for the RTX 3060 Ti. The AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT is offered for £170 and the Radeon RX 6950 XT is offered for £170.
This Asus campaign has covered almost every major graphics card release in the last few years, and it looks like a pretty versatile promotion. In fact, it is unclear whether this campaign will expand to other countries, but overall it seems to be a good program.
