Computer mice should smell well. This is the main idea behind Asus’s newly announced Fragrance Mouse MD101. It is not known who needs a mouse that emit aromatic essential oils, but there is such a product.

Asus Fragrance Mouse comes with the smell chamber

Asus Fragrance Mouse MD101 is an ordinary mouse. With Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connection feature, the sensor resolution can be set up to 2,400 DPI and works with a single AA battery. Asus says the battery can withstand up to a year.

As for the mouse’s smell spread, it is not that complicated. There is a gap that holds essential oil at the bottom of the mouse. You fill the inside and the smell spreads passively from the mouse. Asus says you can use the essential oil you want unless they are not 100 %essential oil. ASUS recommends the use of the type of oil sold for reed diffusers, ultrasonic diffusers and aroma stones. Only the mouse’s aroma chamber is at the bottom. If you are not careful when closing, every part of the mouse’s battery and table may remain in oil.

Fragrance Mouse is not Asus’s first fragrant product. Adol Book 14 Air, introduced in China last year, has a hole that can hold the replaceable odor discs in its case. Discs are passively emitting smell (they are not running with a fan or nothing like this), but you can immerse the odor will be felt more powerful when the laptop spreads too much heat.
