Asus, which is one of the most popular names of the players with the devices it produces and the steps on the hardware side, announced the new RTX 3050 series. The Taiwanese manufacturer, which introduced new products at the CES 2022 event and made a quick start to the new year, wants to appeal to users of all backgrounds with its new graphics cards.
Introducing the variations of NVIDIA’s new RTX 30 series at the fair, Asus will appeal to large audiences with a total of 5 RTX 3050 models. These extremely powerful graphics cards will raise the standards of gaming experience by bringing the NVIDIA Ampere architecture to wider audiences.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 and ROG Stix GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition
The first graphics card introduced by the company is called ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050. Announced for those who want to enter RTX technology, the first model in this series bears the name of ROG, the player brand of Asus. This graphics card with 8GB VRAM has 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 3x DisplayPort 1.4a ports and PCIe 4.0 interface.
The graphics card, which comes with the third generation Tensor core, also includes artificial intelligence-supported performance technologies such as DLSS. In addition, Asus offers the OverClocked version of the graphics card as a separate device. While all of the above features are present in this graphics card, a difference in frequency speed is observed in proportion to the OC. However, Asus has not yet revealed the frequency details and differences of the OC Edition.
Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3050 and Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition
The Dual GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, which also comes with the Asus Ampere architecture, is designed for smaller cases. ROG Strix’s three-fan build made it unusable for small chassis. On the other hand, Dual RTX 3050 and 3050 OC Edition with dual fans, designed for cases such as microATX or Mini-ITX, are able to offer this technology to people from all walks of life.
Dual GeForce RTX 3050 family, which comes with 8GB of VRAM, is available to users with 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 3x DisplayPort 1.4a ports and PCIe 4.0 interface. While the OC Edition version comes with the same hardware, the performance difference between the devices has not been announced yet.
Asus Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050
The last and smallest device in Asus’ new RTX 3050 series is the Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050. This stand-alone model offers RTX 3050 technology, which ROG Strix runs with three fans and Dual with dual fans, to users with a single fan. The graphics card, which has a special protective coating on it, can prevent short circuits that may occur due to moisture, dust and dirt.
Coming with 8GB of VRAM, this model has the same ports and power as the above devices. In addition, this graphics card does not have an OC Edition version.
