Two Russian cosmonauts recently performed a successful spacewalk aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The spacewalk, carried out by two cosmonauts named Oleg Artemyev and Denis Matveev, took 7 hours and 47 minutes. These impressive images remained.
Spacewalk of Russian cosmonauts witnessed impressive images
The spacewalk, which took place about 3 weeks ago, had to be cut short due to a problem with Artemyev’s spacesuit. This time, the duo, who had no problems, did a very successful job. According to the statement made by NASA, Artemyev and Matveev successfully completed all the tasks that needed to be done in this process.
During the mission, the astronauts moved the external control panel associated with the recently activated European Robotic Arm from one work area to another. The cosmonauts also tested the stiffening mechanism on the arm, which will be used to help grip the loads.

The spacewalk was broadcast live on NASA’s YouTube channel. In order for the audience to understand the actions of the astronauts, the entire live broadcast was explained audibly by an official. NASA also shared a series of videos from the walk. Among these videos are images that reveal the Earth from 400 kilometers above.
In addition, the shared videos also present the Russian cosmonauts while they are on duty. The Russian duo working to expand the Strela cargo crane from the Zarya module to the Poisk module is gliding through space, which is truly impressive.

Although astronauts are mostly busy with their work during this process, they do not miss the opportunity to watch the Earth from space. As the ISS orbits the Earth at more than 28,000 km/h, the resulting images are astounding. At this pace, ISS residents have the opportunity to watch 16 sunrises and sunsets during the day.
It’s really exciting to watch Earth from the ISS. It is very nice to see these images from the eyes of astronauts. So what do you think about the spacewalk on the ISS? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
