In the game, Yasuke and Naoe characters said that they aim to explain Japanese history from different perspectives.

Ubisoft officials announced that the game was having a delay and the release date was postponed to 20 March 2025. The main reason for this postponement is to make game mechanics better and to take into account player feedback. The players made demands that Naoe should be highlighted and Yasuke’s role should be balanced.
