Assassin’s Creed (AC) Valhalla’s roadmap was shared shortly before its release, and which DLCs and free additional content would come in the future were published. Developer Ubisoft took the players on a big tour in Norse mythology with its new AC game. We were able to see Odin and his friends in the game. Moreover, we had made a great journey in Asgard. The first major DLC to come to the game was taking players to Ireland. The second DLC took us to the siege of Paris. However, neither the roadmap nor the previous announcements mentioned that there would be a third DLC.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s new DLC: Dawn of Ragnarök
With the announcement of the new DLC, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla managed to attract the attention of Scandinavian mythology lovers. The new DLC will take place on a completely different map and will tell us what Odin did to save his son Baldur.
!Spoiler Alert!. Eivor was portrayed as Odin in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. We were going to Asgard in some missions in the game. It was also revealed that Odin was an Isu, and we also knew that Eivor had Isu abilities because of his bloodline. Going back to our topic, Dawn of Ragnarök DLC will be released on March 10, 2022. This new DLC will take us to the legendary kingdom of Svartalfheim. Dark elves rule in Svartalfheim, but they are more commonly known as dwarves. Dark elves don’t get much sunlight. That’s why the trailer has a dark atmosphere.
We also see some new character abilities in the trailer. Odin can use the element of the enemies he kills for himself. At the beginning of the trailer, after jumping off the cliff, he appears as a white eagle. When he is on his enemy, he can come out of his eagle form and perform an assassination in the air.
He can change the element of the weapon he uses according to the weakness of his opponent. He can then teleport onto the arrow he throws. In fact, this ability is reminiscent of the ability in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Finally, we see that Odin is able to attract the enemies he killed to himself.
It is unknown if all these abilities will be in the DLC or just trailer-specific. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök DLC will be released for all platforms on March 10, 2022.
