Scott Miller, GM’s vice president of software and operating systems, confirmed some details on the matter. Specifically, he said the company has developed an artificial intelligence assistant that can tell the driver what to do in a difficult situation. For example, when a tire is flat, the system will provide information on how to replace the tire and show a training video.
It will tell the driver what to do
The system will also be able to tell what a certain signal on the instrument cluster means and show the driver the route to the service. It is also stated that all these can be controlled by voice.
There is no word yet on what the name of the system will be and when it will appear in cars.
