ASELSAN’s newly developed air defense system project has emerged. The system, called the Point Air Defense (NHS) System, will provide defense against air threats with missiles and air defense artillery.It can be used with ASELSAN NHS, GÖKDOĞAN Oversight Air Missile and GÖKER 35mm Multi-Purpose Weapon System. Thanks to the GÖKDOĞAN missiles, it will have an effective range of 30-40 kilometers. Thanks to its air defense cannon, it will also be able to destroy low-altitude targets.
Like the HİSAR-A+ system developed by ASELSAN, this system also has the ability to perform autonomous missions. An 8×8 tactical wheeled vehicle will be used as the vehicle. The Fire Control Radar integrated into the vehicle will offer a range of 80 kilometers. It will detect targets with 4 AESA Search Radars.The Nokta Air Defense (NHS) System will have similar features to Russia’s Pantsir Air Defense System. Concept drawings of the project were shared. There is no information about when it will be implemented.
