The segment move that came with Clio 5 still continues!
The facelifted 2024 new Clio continues the breakthrough made by the Clio 5 released in 2020. The vehicle gained a very tough appearance, especially with the last make-up operation. There will be those who remember the old RS models. It is possible to see the old Clio RS inspirations in the new front bumper design of the 2024 Clio.
Thanks to the enlarged grille at the front, piano black details have increased. The grille, which integrates with the new Renault logo, is separated from the lower grille form with the transition in body color and gains a bumper appearance. With the new touches to the headlights, the “tiger tooth” headlight design, which started with the Peugeout, was also added to the Clio. But in Clio, this job can be said to be a little more aesthetic because the leds forming the teeth extend downwards in the form of blades. This adds to the sporty feel of the vehicle.
It should also be noted that LED headlights will be offered as standard in all Clio models. This feature, which is generally offered as an option in this model segment, has been offered as standard in the Clio from the 5th generation. When we came to the side and rear parts of the vehicle, no surprising changes were made, except for some aerodynamic air vents added. It’s the same as the Clio 5.
But there is a difference in the rear taillights that will come with the Alpine Estate package. Renault Clio must have emulated BMW because it started using transparent taillights. In addition to the taillights, blue-white stitching and some wheel options will be available exclusively for the Alpine Estate package. We can say that it is similar to the RS-Line hardware that comes with the Clio 5.
2024 Renault Clio engine options
Unfortunately, the new Clio does not have a 1.3 Tce unit that will excite us like the 5th generation. It has 1.0 Sce atmospheric unit and 1.0 Tce turbo unit in the entry segment. And although it is not sold in our country, an LPG version of the 1.0 Tce unit will be sold on European roads. It is not clear whether this unit will come to our country. Clio, which is currently from Bursa, will be on sale in Europe in June.
