Part of the Moon, or rather a small moonstone, was brought to Earth by two NASA astronauts in 1972. This stone was brought to the presidency office by former US President Biden and for the last four years in Oval Office. However, after Donald Trump took office, he took the stone out of the room this month and handed it to NASA. So why did he do that?
The latest images of the Oval Office revealed that the Apollo moon rock was removed from the place on the left of Trump’s desk as part of Trump’s plan to redesign the White House. In fact, the goal of President Trump and his supporter Elon Musk is to start manned journeys to Mars, and therefore the moon is not one of Trump’s primary goals.
We will go to Mars, not the Moon

In his starting speech on January 20, Trump promised NASA to erect the American flag on Mars, ignoring NASA’s efforts to reduce astronauts to the Moon by 2027.
Biden, in contrast to this policy, was focused on NASA’s base on the Moon as a primary. Therefore, this stone was exhibited in Oval Office because Biden symbolized the lunar policies.
