Artificial intelligence supported humanoid robot GR-1 is introduced!

There has been a new development that attracts attention these days, where artificial intelligence is becoming more and more widespread day by day. Fourier, a Shanghai-based venture company, introduced the humanoid robot GR-1 at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in July. Here are the details about the artificial intelligence supported GR-1!

The GR-1 walks at a speed of 5 kilometers per hour!

Many innovations were presented within the scope of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), which took place in July. But what stood out at the event came from Fourier, a Shanghai-based venture firm. The company introduced the artificial intelligence supported humanoid robot GR-1.

The Chinese-made GR-1, which walks on two legs at a speed of 5 km per hour, also weighs 55 kg. According to the allegations, the mass production of the robot will start by the end of 2023. The company will deliver thousands of units next year. Fourier also plans to collaborate with major artificial intelligence companies to work on the robot’s brain.

Alex Gu, founder and CEO of Fourier, made a statement on the subject. “This is an unprecedented initiative for us. When it comes to technology, we had almost no references.” In addition, the CEO also stated that these robots will help the aging population of the country.

Many people who saw the online video of the robot in question doubted the authenticity of the video. Thereupon, allegations circulated that the video was computer-generated. As always, there have been many claims about how much the robot will be after this technology.

Zhang Xiaorong, director of the Chinese research institute, made a statement regarding this. “Humanoid robots currently mostly live in the lab and are extremely expensive. A relatively high-end machine can cost millions of yuan.”
