Productive artificial intelligences such as ChatGPT and Midjourney have now entered our daily lives. Technologies, which are open to everyone’s use and started a new transformation in the world, also revived the sectors and started to create new branches.
One of these branches emerged in the field of cyber security. The giant name of the technology world, Google, announced its artificial intelligence supported cyber security platform at the 2023 RSA Conference. The platform named “Google Cloud Security AI Workbench” was a first in the industry.
What does Google’s artificial intelligence supported platform offer?
Google explained its platform in an easy way with the image above. The platform is trained with all known malicious or benign resources published to date, and in the light of this data, recommendations and practices are offered for security.
AI Workbench will aim to address the three big challenges of cybersecurity: high threat, hard-to-use tools and talent gap. All data will be available to users through the Sec-PaLM language model that Google has trained specifically for this platform.

Google’s platform will target users to prevent possible attacks even before there is a cyber threat. It will detect vulnerabilities and malware beforehand, explaining to the user how to take action.
The first vehicles to be offered within the platform were also announced:
Google’s cybersecurity platform will host several tools in the first place. VirusTotal Code Insight will allow users to analyze a code and find out if it is malicious, so as not to fall victim to suspicious code.
Mandiant Breach Analytics for Chronicle will detect active security vulnerabilities in the environment. It will offer recommendations for taking action against these vulnerabilities.
Access to open source packages will be provided with Assured OSS, information about threats will be provided with Mandiant Threat Intelligence AI, billions of vulnerability events will be investigated and information can be obtained with Chronicle AI, and complex attack graphics will be made much more understandable with Security Command Center AI.
VirusTotal Code Insight, one of these tools within Security AI Workbench, is now available in Preview version. It has been announced that other vehicles will be available to users in the coming months.
