US-based technology giant Microsoft is working feverishly to bring artificial intelligence-based tools to the Windows ecosystem. In this context; At the Build 2023 events held a few months ago, we already learned that the artificial intelligence tool Copilot is coming to Windows and first-party software like Microsoft 365. Now, Microsoft’s new plans have been revealed.
Windows Central, one of the reliable sources for leaking Windows operating system features, announced that Microsoft is gearing up for Windows 11. Allegedly, Microsoft will bring artificial intelligence-based features to Paint, Photos and Snipping Tool in Windows 11. It is said that some of these will be simple tools, while others will be advanced artificial intelligence features.
Paint will draw pictures over the text you type!
One of the most remarkable artificial intelligence features of Windows 11 will undoubtedly be related to the iconic drawing program Paint. Users will be able to draw pictures in Paint, just like in AI-powered tools like DALL-E, Midjourney or Bing Image Creator. The system will work quite simply. The text that the user enters will be rendered as a canvas. The user will be able to change the canvas created by artificial intelligence as he wishes.
From the Photos app you will be able to copy text or objects from photos!
According to the information obtained, a brand new experience will be offered to users with the artificial intelligence support that will come to the Photos application. So much so that a user will be able to copy the texts in an image opened through the Photos application and send it to any text writing application. In addition, any object in a photo can be cut with the support of artificial intelligence and transferred to another photo editing application.
Snipping Tool will also be able to detect texts
Just like the Photos app, the Snipping Tool will be designed with artificial intelligence to analyze texts. With this new feature, the user will be able to instantly copy all the texts on a page that he has taken a screenshot of.
Windows Central did not make any statement about when the artificial intelligence-supported features of Windows 11 will be released. However, it is said that a new event will be held on September 21, and more explanations about artificial intelligence will be made at this event. When that event happens, we may know more about the features we talked about today.
