The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has been on the agenda for a while with the Artemis 1 mission, which will allow us to go to the Moon again. So much so that the Orion spacecraft, which NASA developed specifically for this mission, was delayed 2 times due to fuel leaks in the gaskets of the SLS rocket. In a news we shared with you in the past days, we mentioned that these gasket leaks, which caused Artemis 1 to be delayed 2 times, were repaired.
Now, there has been a very important development regarding this important space mission. NASA has officially announced when the SLS will be launched. According to the statement made by the institution, NASA’s new spacecraft will be launched once again on Tuesday, September 27. If this attempt fails, eyes will be turned to NASA again, this time on Sunday, October 2nd.
If the first launch is successful, a new 6-week period will begin

If things go well and NASA has a successful launch on September 27, we will have entered a new 6-week period this time. Orion will be orbiting the Moon in the process. When the calendars show November 5, 2022, Orion will have returned to our planet. If this process is completed successfully, this time the Artemis 2 process will have started.
When we come to 2025, there will be another very important development for humanity. NASA will land humans on the Moon as part of the Artemis 3 mission. Moreover, there will be a woman among these people. Thus, humanity will set foot on the Moon again after half a century. However, this will not be the only event of Artemis 3. NASA will try to send humans to Mars this time with what they learned from Artemis. While it is not known when this will happen, expectations are that it will be the end of the 2030s.
