It is known that Apple has been working on augmented reality and virtual reality glasses for a long time. Apple, which is expected to introduce its first smart glasses in 2023 at the latest, may be very close to the end of the project. The new document from the Patent and Registration Office points to Apple’s glasses.
Apple realityOS
The operating system that Apple will use in its smart glasses has been known as realityOS for a while. Now, a document has emerged that strengthens this claim. The patent application discovered by Vox Media shows a company called Realityo Systems LLC registering “realityOS”. Accordingly, Realityo Systems is thought to be a company founded by Apple. Realityo Systems uses the same address as Yosemite Research LLC, and Yosemite Research LLC is a company that Apple founded to hide their macOS operating system research.
Apple’s smart glasses coming soon
In addition, Realityo Systems’ realityOS logo is produced with the San Francisco font that Apple always uses. On the verge of this information, it is thought that Apple’s first AR / VR glasses will be introduced very soon. Mark Gurman, known for his sources close to Apple, also stated that Apple will make a serious presentation about smart glasses at WWDC. It seems that Apple’s new generation glasses will meet us very soon.
