Continuing to work on the iPhone 14 series and signing different technologies, Apple will soon launch the AirPods Pro 2 headset, which is updated with new features. Now, a new technology patent has emerged that is thought to belong to AirPods.
Increases safety in hazardous environments
According to what was shared by Slashgear, the new patent filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) includes a Contextual Audio system that will make AirPods users aware of environmental impacts.
In addition, AirPods models will be able to automatically change the volume against situations that may occur in dangerous environments, construction sites and training facilities, and will play the alarm sound on the iPhone or Apple Watch when necessary.
Also referring to a special sensor that will work with iPhone or Apple Watch to monitor the user’s body position and take appropriate action, the patent will enable the user’s travel direction and speed to be determined by GPS and other sensor information collected by Apple devices. Thus, users will be quickly warned of impending dangers.
