Apple introduced the iPhone 14 series last week with 4 different options: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The new notch model called Dynamic Island, which comes with the iPhone 14 Pro models of the series, attracted a lot of attention. This feature, which is not yet on Android phones, may soon come to some Android phones.

In Xiaomi’s MIUI software, Dynamic Island notch was tried
A Mi Theme developer applied the Android version of Dynamic Island to a Xiaomi branded phone. A short video spotted by TechDroider showed off how Dynamic Island-style notifications and its currently playing portion appear in Xiaomi’s MIUI software.
The theme with Dynamic Island style notifications is called Grumpy UI and is only available in standard Chinese for now. As you can see from the tweet above, Dynamic Island successfully hides the selfie camera when expanded.
Theme developers are still reviewing the theme with the Dynamic Island notch. If Xiaomi approves the theme, it will be published on the MIUI Themes store. In other words, we can see this new notch on Xiaomi branded phones for the first time from Android phones.
