Apple has updated the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, but an update to the Mac lineup is still expected. There are many rumors that a completely redesigned MacBook Pro is coming this fall, and according to the rhetoric of trusted source Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, an M1X-powered MacBook Pro will be introduced within the next month.
As it is known, Apple already organizes Mac-focused events in October or early November. In fact, the first M1-based Macs were announced at the beginning of November last year.
According to the new information, the new MacBook Pro will be introduced as 2 different M1X variants and will consist of a total of 10 core structures, 2 of which are both efficiency-oriented and 8 high-performance-oriented. On the other hand, Apple will announce the M1X processor with a 16 or 32 core graphics processor. According to Gurman’s statement, Apple is targeting higher performance chips in the future of the Mac Pro, while MacBook Air, iMac and other lower segment MacBook Pro models are planning to prefer M2 processors.
Possible changes are expected to include more ports such as HDMI and SD card slot, while the case is also said to be redesigned. Of course, we have at least 1 more month ahead of us to see these things happen.
