Apple, as always, is preparing to introduce many new products. According to a source, the iPhone SE 3, iPad Air 5 and possibly a new Mac will be unveiled at an event on Tuesday, March 8th.
Bloomberg reports that Apple is targeting March 8 or closer to introduce its new devices. Bloomberg says this information was provided by “people with knowledge on the subject,” and in retrospect we can see that the publication’s predictions about Apple are generally correct.
Of course, as always, it should not be forgotten that these plans may change in the future, but for now, it seems possible that the next Apple event will be held in early March. The company introduced a new iPad Pro and new iMac at an event it held in April last year.
Bloomberg says that Apple will add 5G to both the iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5, which is in line with previous rumors. The iPhone SE was last updated in April 2020, while the latest iPad Air refresh was introduced in October of the same year.
In the case of a new Mac, the chances of a new launch seem less likely, but “could come as early as March,” according to the report. A large number of new Macs are expected to be introduced throughout 2022, so it’s not easy to predict which device will be introduced. Bloomberg says this could be Apple’s “biggest new device rollout ever in a year.”
There are a lot of rumors about both the iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5 right now, and the latest Bloomberg news isn’t the first to suggest March as a promotional window for these devices. Neither product was updated in 2021, so early 2022 looks pretty plausible.
It is said that the iPhone SE 3 will be offered with 5G support and may have an OLED display. But the design is expected to be largely the same as the previous version, so it will still have thick bezels at the top and bottom and a home button.
The iPad Air 5, on the other hand, is likely to remain a convincing option for not spending more money on an iPad Pro. The iPad Air, which is said to have a 10.9-inch display, will apparently switch to OLED like the iPhone SE 3 in 2022.
