We already know that Apple is preparing to launch its first augmented reality (AR) headset. It has already emerged that the company has developed an operating system called realityOS for this device. New details on the subject appeared in the South Korean press.

According to the transmitted information, the augmented reality headset will have a micro OLED screen and Apple Silicon M1 processor. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said in one of his previous statements that the device will have the same level of computing power as the Mac.

Sources close to the supply chain say the company has completed engineering validation tests for its AR head. The exact release date is currently unknown, but reports are that it could become official in the fourth quarter of 2022. In the meantime, it should be noted that arch-rival Samsung is working on a similar augmented reality headset.
