Apple working on 15-inch MacBook Air and 12-inch MacBook

15-inch MacBook Air, may be introduced in 2023

Known for its reports about Apple being correct, Bloomberg talked about Apple’s new MacBook Air plan. According to Bloomberg, Apple is working on a 15-inch MacBook Air model. The 15-inch MacBook Air, which is specified as an extended version of the 13.6-inch model, could be introduced in the spring of 2023. The 15-inch MacBook Air was also reported by Ross Young in the past weeks.

12-inch MacBook may return

Incoming information indicates that Apple is also working on a 12-inch MacBook. The 12-inch MacBook lineup was canceled in 2019 due to thermal limitations and poor performance of Intel Core m processors. However, relying on the efficiency of Apple Silicon processors, Apple wants to revive the 12-inch MacBook model. The new 12-inch MacBook is scheduled to debut in late 2023 or early 2024 at the earliest.

Apple had updated its MacBook Pro family with the M1 Pro and M1 Max at the end of 2021. The MacBook Pro models, codenamed J414 and J416, will be a very similar product to the current generation, but will include the M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. Apple may delay new MacBook Pros to early 2023 if things don’t go well.
