Apple will hold an event in the fall and introduce the iPhone 15 series. It is known that the technology giant will make many changes in terms of design in this series. According to the news that emerged today, the mute switch will be removed on the iPhone 15 Pro models. Instead, a different key design will be used that performs the same function.
The mute switch on iPhone 15 Pro models will be touchscreen
Apple hasn’t used the Home key (middle key) since the iPhone X, except for the SE models. According to the information that has been circulating for a while, Apple will also make some changes in the mute key, power and volume keys on the iPhone 15 models.
Apple will remove the mute switch on iPhone 15 Pro models. Instead, it will add a touch or vibrating button like the Home button on the SE model.
Although it may seem like a small change, if Apple does this, it will break the tradition after a long time. Because the company has been adding the mute switch to all its models since 2007.
The technology giant will also differ in many other areas in terms of design in this series compared to previous models. The volume keys will also change on the iPhone 15 Pro models. These keys will change from two small keys to one long key. Additionally, the entire iPhone 15 series will feature a USB-C port and Dynamic Island for the first time. Dynamic Island was only used on Pro models in the previous series.
Apart from all these, Apple will use titanium material in the Pro models in the iPhone 15 series. Standing out with its robustness, titanium will not be used in other models. Stainless steel will continue to be used for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
