According to information based on Apple’s business partners, the company will not reduce the amount of iPhone 15 orders this year. However, the firm will make some changes in the content of the orders, taking into account the macroeconomic difficulties and the general decline in the industry.
It is stated that the number of entry-level iPhone 15 orders will be reduced by 2 million units, primarily due to production problems with camera sensors. Apple will make up for this cut by increasing the volume of orders for the production of Pro models.
Price increase planned for Pros
In addition, Apple is allegedly planning to increase its total revenue by increasing the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, despite the projected decline in the smartphone market. In fact, it has been on the agenda before that the company will raise the Pro models.
Apple will introduce the highly anticipated new iPhones in September. All four devices to be offered under the new series will reportedly have a USB-C port, Dynamic Island and a slightly more curved frame. Exciting additional features and changes for the Pro models are also on the agenda.
