READING NOW Apple Watch Ultra feature coming to older models with watchOS 10
Apple Watch analyzes the user’s daily usage and dynamically determines the maximum charge limit. The Optimal Charge Limit feature using machine learning was introduced with watchOS 9 and was exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra. Apple is now bringing this feature to older models with the watchOS 10 update.

Optimal charge limit feature is coming

With watchOS 10, the optimal charge limit feature is now available on Apple Watch SE, Series 6, Series 7, and Series 8 models. Until the watchOS 10 final version is released, new models will of course support this feature. So, what does the optimized charge limit do?

With the optimal charge limit feature, Apple Watch decides when to charge the battery to the optimal limit and when to fully charge, using the information gained by examining the user’s daily usage. When the Apple Watch is connected to the charger with the optimal charging limit turned on, the open charging ring comes out.

watchOs 10 developer beta is available for free download

The watchOS 10 developer beta is now open to everyone. This year, Apple also allowed users who do not have an Apple Developer account to receive developer betas for free. To download and install the watchOS 10 developer beta, simply log in to the Developer site with your Apple ID. You can then install the watchOS 10 dev beta update under Software Update in the Watch app.
