Apple recently introduced its newest smartwatch, the Watch 7 Series, at its ‘California Streaming’ event. However, the company did not reveal much about when this series can be purchased. In fact, this means that we have a little more time to review the Apple Watch 7 series.
But the Watch 6, which came out last year, may still be the most sensible watch you can buy. The biggest reason for this is that there is no serious difference with the Watch 7. However, we made a comparison for users who are undecided between the two watches. Here comes the Apple Series 6 vs Series 7.

Performance
Apple did not make any statements about the CPU at the Series 7 promotion. He also did not publish a statement about it on his site. The results say it has the same S6 processor as the Series 6 clock, or possibly a slightly improved S7 chip. However, performance is always carried to the top in the Watch series introduced every year. We hope that the Watch 7 series will be faster than the 6 Series.
Both watches have the same LTE chip for cellular connectivity, so if you’re looking for 5G, you’ll have to wait for the Series 8.
battery and charger
The Apple Watch 6 Series has the same 18-hour battery life as previous models, and we’re assuming the Series 7 does too. That’s enough to get you through the day, but you’ll need to charge the watch if you want to track sleep.
Series 7 has a serious advantage. Apple’s new watch supports fast charging via a new USB-C charging cable that Apple claims will charge 33 percent faster than the Series 6 model. It may also include eight-hour sleep monitoring.
Sensors and features
For the first time in generations, there is no difference between the two watches when it comes to health and fitness tracking. Here are the features covered by both watches…
- Blood oxygen sensor
- Electric heart sensor
- 3. gene optical heart sensor
- Fall detection
- Accelerometer
- Ambient light
- Barometric altimeter
- Compass
- GPS/GNSS
- Gyroscope
- Microphone
During the introduction of Series 7, Apple showcased the Series 7’s extended fall detection feature, which can now detect an inappropriate fall during a workout and call emergency services when needed. However, this is a watchOS 8 feature not exclusive to Series 7 and should work just as well for Series 6 and other watches.
