In the past weeks, an Apple Watch user explained how he learned that he was pregnant by noticing the change in heart rate on social media. The Reddit user stated that he took his temperature after his heart rate increased and that there was no other problem in his body. The woman, who took a pregnancy test based on the articles she read on the Internet, learned that she was pregnant thanks to the Apple Watch.
According to the Hour Detroit news, the mother noticed her heart rate increased and took her daughter to the hospital. Thanks to early warning, it was determined that Imani Miles, who underwent appendectomy, had a rare type of cancer in children.
Doctors who started treatment for a neuroendocrine tumor stated that the cancer had spread to other parts of his body. Miles, who underwent surgical intervention, began to recover.
Apple has started to include technologies containing ECG feature in its smart watches since the 4th series. Apple Watch models on sale today include many health technologies such as heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring and EKG.
Apple Watch Series 8 can also detect car crashes with its Collision Detection feature. The company emphasized that it has added two new motion sensors to the smartwatch for this technology.
