One of the most praised aspects of Apple is the company’s design language. Except for one or two products of the company that have been criticized, such as the Magic Mouse, its designs are highly appreciated. Another feature of the Cupertino giant is that it is not willing to radically change its designs.
When we look at Apple’s smart watches, we see a rounded rectangular design. In addition, the rotatable, round buttons called crowns, which are found on classic watches, also stand out on the Apple Watch. This button can also be used as a navigation tool.
This is not the Apple Watch you see, it’s the Galaxy Fit 3
It has been revealed that Samsung, which uses a round design and does not have a crown in its smart watches, will present a design close to the Apple Watch design with its new smart bracelet Galaxy Fit 3. Samsung already preferred the rectangular design in previous Galaxy Fit models. However, the design of the Galaxy Fit 3 can be described as a “fake Apple Watch”. Of course, Samsung is doing this so that people will buy the Galaxy Fit thinking it’s an Apple Watch. Allegedly, Samsung plans to make the Apple Watch look like a simple and lower-class product with this similarity.
The fierce competition between the two technology giants is likely to be remembered for many years to come, with challenges and references sometimes openly and sometimes implicitly. On the other hand, companies that have to be more competitive thanks to such initiatives have to offer better products to us, end users, in a more advantageous way.
