US technology giant Apple comes up with products from many different categories. The very successful AirPods headphones are one of them. The device, which first appeared in 2016, has since been offered only in white color option.
However, the information that emerged today showed that Apple was initially considering offering AirPods models in different color options.
Apple wanted to bring pink, red, purple, black and yellow colors to its AirPods models to match the iPhone 7.
Images shared by a Twitter user named “KosutamiSan”, an Apple collector, showed that the company was considering different colors in the early stages of the product. However, the company later took a decision against it and continued with only white color. The user added that this decision was taken very close to the first launch of the product.
A user named Kosutami states that the company is considering pink, red, purple, black and yellow color options for the first generation AirPods. Finally, he adds that these colors are considered in the headphones to match the color options of the iPhone 7, whose purple color has been canceled.
